POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager of Pricing Automation & AI Enablement is responsible for transforming the Deviation of Policy (DOP) pricing process through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision support. This role focuses on reducing cycle time, improving pricing consistency, and ensuring SOX compliance by embedding intelligent workflows within pricing related systems.

These individual partners with Pricing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Business Units to eliminate manual processes, enhance data accuracy, and deliver scalable pricing solutions that drive margin expansion and faster deal execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Streamline the overall DOP process, reducing manual touchpoints and approval cycle time.
  • Design rule-based and AI-assisted approval routing based on deal characteristics (margin thresholds, deal size, region, risk level).
  • Standardize and automate data inputs required for pricing business cases.
  • Develop predictive models to recommend optimal pricing, discount ranges, and deal strategies.
  • Implement AI tools to identify pricing anomalies, margin leakage risks, and deal outliers.
  • Deliver real-time decision support to Pricing and Business Units through dashboards and pricing analytics.
  • Integrate financial data (cost, margin, volume) from source systems (PIM, EBS, Datazen, CPQ) into a unified pricing engine.
  • Build self-service tools for analysts to evaluate deal economics instantly.
  • Embed automated controls within the pricing workflow to ensure SOX compliance (approval tracking, audit trails, version control).
  • Partner with Internal Audit and Finance to continuously improve compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance CPQ capabilities and system integration.
  • Align with Finance to ensure accurate cost and margin reporting.
  • Work with Sales and BU leaders to drive adoption of automated pricing tools and processes.
  • Monitor and report on automation impact to executive leadership.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to refine pricing strategies and workflows.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in pricing strategy, margin analysis, and deal structuring
  • Strong experience with AI and systems including CPQ, automation tools (Power Automate, etc.), and data integration preferred
  • Background in analytics, data modeling, or AI/ML applications in business processes preferred
  • Deep understanding of compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives
