LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP.' is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services to support the company's operations. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our manufacturing processes.

1. Researching and evaluating suppliers to identify the best options for quality, cost and delivery
2. Negotiating contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers to obtain the most favorable terms
3. Placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
4. Maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying opportunities to optimize stock levels
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement need
6. Analyzing purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize purchasing processes
4. Proficient in using procurement software and other relevant technologies
5. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and priorities tasks effectively
