Intermediate to Senior Accountant (2–5 yrs AUS exp)
Purpose: Manage more complex compliance tasks, begin managing small client groups, and review juniors’ work
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare company, trust, and partnership tax returns accurately
- Draft full and precise financial statements
- Review and provide guidance on graduate and junior work
- Collaborate with the onshore team on complex technical matters
- Provide proactive support to managers on advisory projects
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting
- Skilled in reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
- Effective client communication, both internal and external
Reports to: Manager
Progression Criteria:
- Successfully manages small client groups independently
- Provides accurate and thorough reviews of junior staff work
- Demonstrates readiness for increased client interaction
