Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-driven Sales Representative to join our logistics team, specializing in perishable goods and special project logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and offering tailored logistics services that meet the unique demands of time-sensitive and high-value cargo.

This role requires excellent communication, strong coordination with operations, and a deep understanding of logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and develop new sales opportunities within the perishable logistics and special project sectors
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding specific logistics needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure service quality, on-time delivery, and issue resolution
  • Promote company capabilities in temperature-controlled transport, expedited delivery, and project-based logistics services
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to remain competitive and identify new business niches
  • Prepare proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals in line with company targets and pricing strategies
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence
  • Provide clients with ongoing support, including issue resolution and post-service follow-ups
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events to build brand visibility and network within the logistics space
  • Coordinate internally for special handling requirements and service customization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport services
  • Knowledge of cold chain logistics, special cargo handling, or project logistics is a strong advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a client-first mindset
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and handle dynamic, high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory to meet clients and conduct field visits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics or CRM systems is a plus
