HR Assistant Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Handle employee relations, concerns, and disciplinary actions
- Monitor employee performance and assist in performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations
- Oversee timekeeping, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Assist in training and development programs
- Prepare HR reports and documentation
- Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower needs
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of HR experience, with supervisory experience preferred
- Supervisory experience is required for this position
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Knowledge of construction industry labour laws is required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
- Experience with any HRIS system is required
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
