Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT & Systems Manager to own, manage, and optimize our internal systems, tools, and IT operations. This role is ideal for someone with prior IT management experience who is comfortable acting as an individual contributor in the early stages while helping design and build a scalable IT infrastructure as the organization grows.

The IT & Systems Manager will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, security alignment, and efficient technology adoption across the company.

• Own and manage service-related tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, ticketing systems, collaboration tools, internal apps).
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure systems are properly configured, documented, and maintained.

• Manage system access, user provisioning, and deprovisioning.
• Oversee device setup, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain accurate tracking of IT assets.

• Drive tool adoption and standardization across teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements.
• Reduce manual processes through smart system integrations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Coordinate with IT partners and vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and improvements.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.

• Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability.
• Align IT systems with company security policies and best practices.
• Support data security, compliance, and risk management initiatives.

• Help design scalable IT processes, policies, and infrastructure.
• Contribute to long-term technology planning and roadmap development.
• Support organizational growth through efficient IT solutions.

• 5 years of experience as an IT Manager, Systems Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing system access, user administration, and device deployment.
• Experience working with or managing an MSP or external IT vendors.
• Experience supporting a large volume of remote users.
• Experience managing distributed assets and PCs/laptops.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Background in data security, compliance, or information security practices.
• Strong hands-on technical capability (comfortable performing operational IT tasks).
