  • Delivering on the store obsolescence program commenced in 2024, with physical disposals through scrap dealers and OEM vendors
  • Coordinate physical review and inspections of critical spares and validate correct storage and/or move to appropriate location
  • Coordinating SPA execution with the Procurement team for spares where no contract is necessary (no spend commitment), but framework agreement can remove RFQ process
  • Identify and implement savings opportunities in working with the Senior Analyst, Supply Excellence, for review of min/max levels and criticality ratings
  • Identify and implement savings opportunities in working with maintenance planning team particularly in relation to lead time review and planning for shutdowns and major equipment refurbishments, including elimination of high level of ‘hot shots’
  • Review current PowerBI reports, assess KPI’s and improvements and deliver enhanced reports and coaching
  • Automate (in Workiva) the preparation of the OGPI PSE Form 17Q and associated SEC report, including the quarterly Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A)
  • Consult on and review Provide strategic review and advice regarding the Didipio operation outstanding and ongoing tax and government policy changes in order to mitigate impacts associated with changes
  • Identify, schedule, plan and implement value chain improvements, in collaboration with Operations and Group Departments as required, that deliver the most value for OGPI
  • Facilitate the recording of issues, risks, and improvement opportunities for commercial and implement opportunities to improve control and reduce process weakness within the Didipio commercial function
  • Support the delivery of all financial inputs for the annual Budget
-Lead the coordination and delivery of all financial inputs for Ni43-101 reporting.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of concept, prefeasibility, and feasibility level study financial inputs.
  • Oversee completion of the monthly, quarterly, and annual OGPI accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor level Commercial related tertiary qualification (Commerce, Law, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent).
  • Internationally recognized finance post graduate qualification- CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent
  • 10+ years' experience in a combination of commercial as well as management and/or strategy roles, with a proven track-record of
success in leadership positions, ideally within the mining industry.
  • Coach the Financial Services manager on preparation of technical accounting papers on topical accounting issues and control
opportunities.
  • Previous experience working in a developing country, coaching, and
managing a team highly advantageous.
  • Preferable current member of the CA, CPA or CFA financial institution.
Relevant IFRS and financial reporting technical theory & knowledge of
international business practices and legislative environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and successfully leading change
management.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing written process and workflow documentation.
  • Previous experience working in a developing country and working across various cultural backgrounds highly advantageous.
  • Exposure to Global shared business services models.
  • Advanced commercial analysis capability, including comprehensive understanding and ability to explain impacts to balance sheet, cash flow
and retained earnings.
  • Understanding of Philippine tax law and legislative requirements associated with transfer pricing and taxes highly advantageous.
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills providingconfident, rigorous, and informed commercial advice and expertise to
optimise outcomes.
  • Possess a high degree of self-motivation and a strong ability to autonomously dictate priorities and report to an remote based manager.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with a conscientiousness to support team workload as required during surge
requirements.
  • Advanced skills in Financial Reporting and application of IFRS in a mining operational context
  • Substantive understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act, including governance, accounting, and reporting requirements to achieve
compliance advantageous.
  • Excellent command of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced use and understanding of various company & departmental systems including Pronto, Microsoft Suite and Power BI.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong key stakeholder relationships through regular formal and informal engagement and collaboration.
