Position Overview
As a Fashion Designer at badomoda, you'll support the design and production of our fashion lines across every stage — from trend forecasting to sourcing and sample fittings. You’ll work closely with production teams, suppliers, and the sales department to ensure our products reflect both creativity and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Conceptualize Seasonal Collections
- Forecast fashion trends and find inspiration pegs
- Research and develop new design ideas
- Analyze past collections and sales data
- Collaborate with Sales and visit stores for customer insights
- Sourcing
- Research and assist in fabric and materials sourcing
- Coordinate with suppliers and organize orders
- Participate in factory visits and buying trips
- Garment Production
- Create tech specs and comment sheets
- Collaborate with the in-house pattern maker
- Coordinate with sewers and suppliers for timely production
- Monitor job orders and attend fit meetings
- Assist in costing and pricing of designs
- Online Platform Support
- Compile SKUs with full specs and descriptions
- Organize and help style catalog and editorial photoshoots
- Work with 3rd party photographers and stylists
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design
- Solid knowledge of fashion trends, textiles, and garment construction
- Has had work experience in fashion design or related work
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Eye for detail and aesthetics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with social media and e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Prior experience or internships in fashion design is an advantage
