About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to join the dynamic team at Holiday Plaza Hotel in Cebu City, Cebu. As the Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of our hotel, ensuring accurate reporting, strategic planning, and sound financial management.This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the long-term success of our established and respected hospitality organisation.
What you'll be doing- Manage all aspects of the hotel's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and hotel policies
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, and reporting in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records
