MIS STAFF

(Cebu based)

Responsibilities:

• Provide a single point of contact to end-users requiring support. This includes troubleshooting of both desktop applications, hardware malfunctions and network connectivity either on-site (Head office) or Branch related. Point-person with Vendor support to resolve technical issues including warranty and product quality.
• Ensure Hardware (Servers, Computers, Routers, Printers) and other active components or peripherals are configured and tested properly before deployment.
• Ensure that connectivity (wired and wireless), Firewall and we filtering are effectively working both Head Office and Branch Connectivity- Local/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN).
• Technical supports for the setup and installation of MELEYE, MELMOS and other computerized software applications featured in our product line.
• Prepare hardware and install Operating System and requested Applications
• Install and setup of Network Attached Storage (NAS) File Server.
• Setup biometric device based on approved project assignment, setup employees in biometric device based on approved location/project. Upload and update biometric attendance log to database.
• Track and monitor software licenses and custodianship of assigned hardware, software and media custodian/librarian.
• Closely monitor Server’s Anti-Virus (AV, Anti-spam) and Workstation’s AV/signatures are periodically updated.
• Closely monitor software updates and patches- reviewed and applied as necessary to prevent software security lapses.
• Adheres to IEE quality policy and quality objectives of IT-MIS Section.
• Prepares complete monthly reports on respective process performances and status monitoring of windows updates & Hardware/Software inventory.
• Performs other IT-MIS related tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Graduate of at least 4-year course in BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, BS Computer Engineering or any 4-year Technical (IT) courses.
• Must be proficient with strong technical aspects in network (design and troubleshooting), installation and setup of windows servers and services, windows operating system and/or other operating system in the IT pool.
• Must have a wide knowledge in productivity office applications but not limited to word editor, spreadsheets, presentation tools, email clients and drawing and mapping tools.
• Must be proficient both in written and oral communication.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
