Job Title: Technical Support Representative
Job Summary
A Technical Support Representative provides frontline assistance to customers experiencing technical issues with products or services. The role focuses on troubleshooting, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction through various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, or network issues
- Provide step-by-step technical guidance in a clear and simple way
- Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams when needed
- Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the system
- Follow company procedures, scripts, and service standards
- Ensure timely resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on product knowledge and system changes
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, software, and internet troubleshooting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Good typing and documentation skills
- Patience and professionalism when dealing with customers
- Experience in customer service or tech support (preferred but not always required)
