PLE Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a PLE Engineer to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and reliability by implementing effective maintenance programs and supporting PLC programming and automation systems. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, improving production performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and basic modifications to support equipment automation
- Investigate equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Monitor equipment performance (OEE) and provide KPI reports with recommendations
- Ensure compliance with TPM, 5S, and workplace standards
- Manage third-party maintenance providers to meet performance targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related)
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or similar role
- Knowledge in PLC systems, electrical diagrams, P&ID, and mechanical drawings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience in SAP/S4H is an advantage
