Civil engineering technician (general)

Job Description

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel facilities, equipment, and utility systems.
• Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, lighting, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and work reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding maintenance concerns and repair requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the engineering workshop and storage areas.

• ollege graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• With experience in building maintenance, hotel engineering, or facilities maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physically fit and able to perform maintenance and repair work.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments when necessary.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
