About the role
Hail Transport Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems for our transport operations.As an Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our vehicle electrical systems and related infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that directly impact our fleet performance and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities- Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems for transport vehicles and supporting infrastructure
- Conduct electrical inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify faults and recommend solutions
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical components and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system malfunctions and performance issues
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices
- Conduct regular maintenance audits and develop preventative maintenance schedules for electrical systems
- Document all technical work, testing results, and modifications in comprehensive reports
- Stay current with advancements in electrical and electronic engineering technologies relevant to transport operations
- Support the continuous improvement of electrical systems to enhance vehicle reliability and reduce downtime
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence or equivalent professional certification in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in electrical or electronic engineering, preferably in the automotive, transport, or heavy vehicle industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, battery management systems, and power distribution networks
- Proficiency in electrical design software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Solid understanding of electrical safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
- Strong analytical and technical documentation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Experience with renewable energy systems or alternative fuel vehicle technology is preferred
