Layout Artist/Machine Operator

A small company in printing industry in

Tandang Sora, Quezon City

Full-time, On-site

Mondays to Saturdays, 8 AM to 5PM

Starting Salary: 800.00/day

Duties and Responsibilities:

In general, the layout artist will have the following key responsibilities in the operations:

• Prepare and adjust print-ready files based on client specifications.
• Ensure correct layout, bleed, color profile, and file format before printing.
• Operate digital and large format printers.
• Establish terms of reference and schedule deliverables.
• Perform routine printer maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Communicate with the team regarding file issues or concerns.
• Assist in finishing tasks when needed (e.g., trimming, lamination).
• Maintain file and print job records properly.
• Operate printers and other finishing machines.
• Create content for marketing and advertising
• Adept in using Adobe Creative Suite.

Skills required:

1. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop to design, arrange, modify graphic components(Knowledge in using InDesign, Page Maker and Illustrator is a plus)
2. Creative skills such as brainstorming, open-mindedness, flexibility
3. Meticulous and attention to details
4. Problem Solving skills
5. Need good communication skills, adaptability, ability to provide and receive feedback.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Graphic Design
