Video Production Virtual Assistant

The ideal candidate is creative, technically skilled, and has proven experience handling professional-grade video footage with a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage from professional cameras, mobile devices, and image assets into polished, publication-ready final videos
• Deliver a consistent output of 4 to 5 completed video edits per week within agreed timelines
• Apply professional-level cuts, color grading, transitions, audio mixing, and visual effects appropriate to each piece
• Collaborate on sourcing and selecting suitable background music, sound effects, and licensed stock elements
• Organize and manage raw footage libraries and handle file transfers using cloud tools such as Dropbox or Google Drive
• Submit review drafts through platforms like Frame.io and incorporate feedback accurately and without friction
• Maintain visual consistency and strong brand alignment across all content output
• Ensure all finished edits are delivered on time to keep the broader production schedule on track
• Communicate proactively on project progress, upcoming deadlines, and creative direction throughout each assignment

Mandatory Skills:

• A strong and demonstrable portfolio of finished video work with verified professional editing experience
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro at a production-ready level
• Hands-on experience editing footage from professional cameras such as the Sony FX3 and from mobile devices
• A refined sense of pacing, narrative flow, color, and sound design
• Ability to manage and organize large volumes of video files efficiently and without loss of quality
• Comfortable with cloud-based file sharing tools including Dropbox and Google Drive
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of sustaining output quality with minimal supervision
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, constructive approach to creative feedback

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience using Frame.io or a comparable video review and approval platform
• Solid knowledge of color grading workflows and audio sweetening techniques
• Experience sourcing and licensing music and sound assets for professional video productions
• Background producing both long-form and short-form content for different platforms and purposes
• Motion graphics or foundational animation skills as a supplementary capability
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent editing projects while consistently meeting tight deadlines
