The candidate will be responsible for the following:- Prepares and submits Books of Accounts and all monthly and quarterly tax-related documents to the Bureau of Interna Revenue (BIR),
- Ensures timely submission of Tax Return Filing through Electronic Filing and Payment System,
- Participates and provides the requirements of tax examiners for ongoing tax audit or other tax-related work,
- Reviews and evaluates compliance with all tax-related transactions and recommends procedures that would reduce tax exposure,
- Ensure that due taxes are remitted and recorded in the books accordingly,
- Performs research, analysis, and interpretation of current tax laws, and keeps updated with the latest regulation/memorandum issued by BIR and local government unit, and
- Performs all other related functions as may be directed by immediate superior.
Qualifications/Requirements
He/She must also meet the following qualifications:- Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business-related course
- CPA is an advantage
- With at least three (3) years’ work experience in tax filing, reconciliation, and analysis,
- Knowledgeable in MS Office (MS Word & MS Excel),
- With experience in SAP,
- Can work independently and manage multiple tasks,
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information, and
- Ability to negotiate any tax related transactions with the BIR.
