Responsibilities and Duties
Manages the Accounting Department and ensures compliance with financial procedures- Responsible for the development of policies, systems and improvements in accounting controls
- Reviews/approves journal entries and maintains books of accounts (Cash Receipt, Cash Disbursement & General Journal) and other accounting records
- Handles monthly closing procedures (recording of investment transactions, lapsing schedules, accruals, etc.)
- Prepares monthly financial statements and drafts the annual audited financial statements
- Handles requirements of internal and external auditors
- Ensures timely preparation, submission and payment of tax returns
- Ensures compliance of Accounting Team with internal and external commitments
- Reviews and handles recording of Ayala Coop's payroll and remittances to government agencies
- Other tasks that may be assigned
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- Applicants with leadership & management experience will have an advantage
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership and management experience is required
- Willing to work in Makati
- Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays
