Junior High School Science Teacher

Junior High School MAPEH Teacher

We are looking for passionate and dedicated educators to join our academic team at Our_Lady of Perpetual Succor College (OLOPSC).

Job Description

We are seeking committed teachers who will deliver engaging and effective instruction aligned with the K–12 curriculum. The role involves fostering students’ critical thinking, creativity, physical development, and overall well-being through meaningful and interactive learning experiences.

The ideal candidates are enthusiastic, innovative, and student-centered educators.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the K–12 curriculum
Create engaging and interactive classroom activities and learning experiences
Assess and evaluate student performance through various assessment methods
Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit reports on time
Establish and maintain effective classroom management
Provide academic support and guidance to students
Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress

Qualifications

For Science Teacher:

Bachelor’s/College Degree in Secondary Education major in Science, or any Science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) with teaching units
Preferably a Licensed Professional Teacher (LET passer)
Strong knowledge of Science concepts aligned with the K–12 curriculum

For MAPEH Teacher:

Bachelor’s/College Degree in Secondary Education major in MAPEH, Physical Education, Music, Arts, Health Education, or a related field
Preferably a Licensed Professional Teacher (LET passer)
Skills in at least one MAPEH area (e.g., coaching, dance, music, visual arts)

General Qualifications:

At least one (1) year of teaching experience is an advantage
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate, creative, and student-oriented
Willing to work on-site in Marikina City
