Inpatient Medical Coding Trainer | 100k SOB | Competitive Salary Awaits

As the IP Coding Trainer, you will collaborate closely with the coding team to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency in coding practices.

Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, disease processes, and surgical techniques
• Active participation in continuing education programs to proficiently apply ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS, and PQRS (if applicable) coding guidelines
• One (1) year of coding experience, with certification in CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, COC, CIC, and extensive training in coding desirable
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential required; Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential preferred
• Proven experience in teaching or training medical coding staff
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
• Ability to work seamlessly with individuals and teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
• Must be willing to wok in a hybrid set-up.
