About the role
DATEM INC. is looking for an ambitious and driven Corporate Legal Associate to join their dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will see you providing strategic, high-quality, and timely legal services to support the company's corporate and commercial activities.
What you'll be doing- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and legal instruments
- Providing regulatory, corporate, and commercial advice to support the company's strategic initiatives
- Assisting with investments, tender responses, and the delivery of new and expanded services
- Ensuring the company operates in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks for the business
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the legal team, as required
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained at a large commercial law firm or in-house legal team
- Substantial expertise across a wide range of commercial legal practice areas, including contracts, M&A, corporate structuring, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused legal advice to both operational staff and senior stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and mentor junior colleagues
