Company Driver

Job description:

• Operate company vehicles (e.g., Isuzu Forward) to transport materials, tools, and construction equipment between warehouses, suppliers, and job sites.
• Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and delivery processes.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the truck.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Deliver materials according to schedule to avoid delays in construction operations.
• Coordinate closely with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and site engineers regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents to management immediately.
• Assist in basic maintenance or warehouse tasks when not assigned to a trip.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Professional Driver’s License (RC 3 or above).
• At least 3–5 years of extensive experience driving trucks in construction or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Can work independently and follow detailed instructions.
• Responsible, honest, and punctual.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overtime, and weekends if needed.
