Employee Relations Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team leadership experience demonstrating ability to guide and manage staff effectively is required.
  • Lead and oversee the employee relations function, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices across the organization.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Develop, review, and implement employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to improve workplace culture, employee engagement, and communication strategies.
  • Oversee investigations into employee complaints, ensuring confidentiality, fairness, and timely resolution.
  • Monitor trends in employee concerns and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, employment regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on talent retention, succession planning, and organizational development strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of specific employee relations experience is essential for this position.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
