Cost Control Associate

JOB SUMMARY:

Support cost control efforts by reviewing procurement documents, maintaining cost records, monitoring inventory, assisting in preparing financial reports, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to maximize profit and enhance business competitiveness, thereby maintaining financial stability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct invoice verification for the prior day’s deliveries to ensure billing accuracy and promptly report discrepancies.
• Verify all inter-transfer between the Revenue Centers and production outlets and prepare weekly cost reports and monthly analysis reports, service / bar and kitchen consumption reports as well as various store issuance reports.
• Work closely with Food & Beverage personnel and kitchen staff to establish accurate food, beverage prices and recipe costing ensuring effective cost control and profitability.

• Prepare special management reports like monthly staff canteen consumption reports to provide insights for better resource planning and cost management.
• Responsible for the maintenance of Inventory System such as receiving and store modules.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage personnel and kitchen staff to establish accurate food and beverage prices and recipe costing.

• Periodically inspect the store section and confirm that internal controls are intact and up-to-date.
• Arrange the selling prices and cost of sales for all trading stocks to ensure alignment with the business plan, and accomplish daily inter-transfers of stock among outlets and stores.
• Organize and maintain the Material management system to warrant accurate costing.

• Perform Yield Test and review portions control to ensure accurate ingredient usage, cost control and consistent product quality.
• Update of article used in the Recipe and projects the Cost Mark up versus selling price to ensure accurate costing and maintain pricing profitability.
• Validate the Point Of Sale buttons to ensure recipe costs are up - to - date, supporting accurate sales reporting and cost control.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a college graduate, of any of the following courses: Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field
• At least one (1) year relevant experience in cost control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Good understanding of cost control processes, policies, and best practices
• Proficiency in office applications (GSuite, MS Office, etc.)
