Sales Officer

1. Sales Strategy & Planning Support

• Assist the BDM in preparing sales plans, forecasts, and performance reports
• Consolidate and analyze sales data for strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with operations and supply chain to align demand with production

1. Business Development Assistance

• Identify and profile potential customers and partners
• Maintain and update customer and prospect databases
• Help organize meetings, trade events, and partnerships
• Conduct market and competitor research

1. Pricing & Sales Administration

• Gather market pricing data and monitor competitors
• Prepare pricing proposals, discount requests, and credit documents
• Ensure compliance with pricing and credit policies

1. Sales Operations Coordination

• Support order processing, documentation, and delivery coordination
• Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Track team targets and compile monthly summaries

1. Customer & Relationship Support

• Maintain records of key clients and partners
• Coordinate meetings, communications, and follow-ups
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts

1. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
• Monitor collections, credit status, and margins
• Compile market intelligence reports

1. Administrative & Logistical Support

• Manage schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements of the BDM
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality
• Perform general administrative and coordination tasks

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agribusiness, Animal Science, or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in agribusiness sales (preferably in livestock, poultry, or feed industry)
3. Proven experience in managing sales teams and handling B2B accounts
4. Strong understanding of farm-to-market dynamics, pricing, and trading practices
5. Good negotiation skills and financial acumen, with the ability to manage margins
6. Excellent leadership and communication skills
