Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading producer of well-known local FMCG products in the country. Our client is seeking an experienced Food Service Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding key accounts and distributor channels, and strengthening the company's presence in the food service industry.

The office is located in Mandaluyong City.

Role Overview

The role is responsible for delivering sales growth and profitability across the food service business by executing strategic initiatives for key accounts and distributor channels. It ensures the achievement of sales and financial targets through effective customer and distributor management, accounts receivable control, and resource optimization.

This position also leads and develops a high-performing sales team while collaborating cross-functionally to implement impactful sales programs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Sales Management
  • Oversee and manage the entire food service business, including Key Accounts and Distributor channels
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food service industry
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to guide strategy
Key Account Management
  • Build and manage strong relationships with major food service accounts
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Distributor Sales Management
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party distributors
  • Drive sales growth through distributor programs and initiatives
  • Monitor and optimize distributor performance
Financial Management
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximizeROI
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members
  • Provide coaching and performance management
  • Build a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Product Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, R&D, and Operations to develop food service solutions
  • Provide customer and market insights to support product innovation
Program Planning & Execution
  • Plan and implement sales programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor effectiveness and optimize programs for better results
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities and improve performance
