Job Overview
The Retail & Food Service Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth across Shop, Food & Service operations. The role supports supplier partnerships, enhances dealer performance, and ensures operational excellence across assigned locations.This includes implementing programs, monitoring execution, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Operations & Standards Compliance
- Ensure shop personnel are trained on Health & Safety, Retail policies, procedures, and SFS standards
- Monitor consistent implementation of operational requirements across assigned locations
- Coordinate with Retail Business teams and dealers on activities affecting shop operations
- Supplier & Dealer Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for food, beverage, and retail products
- Lead supplier and product accreditation processes, including documentation and compliance checks
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, and supplier-funded promotions
- Secure and track supplier rebates, marketing support, and business development funds
- Coordinate with Finance for accurate rebate and royalty reporting, invoicing, and collections
- Conduct regular business reviews with dealers to monitor performance
- Merchandising & Program Execution
- Develop and implement localized shop programs to drive sales
- Execute and monitor shop development initiatives and projects
- Assist in creating and implementing planograms based on performance data
- Recommend shop improvements and renovations to enhance profitability
- Data, Reporting & Market Monitoring
- Collect and analyze shop and food service performance data
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, plans, and variance analysis
- Participate in planning and review meetings with actionable insights
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends
- Achievement of sales and profitability targets
- Timely and accurate submission of reports and presentations
- Effective management of shop operations, including rebates and royalty tracking
- Proper documentation and safekeeping of contracts and agreements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Retail or FMCG
- Strong skills in MS Office, communication, negotiation, analytics, and presentation
- Willing to travel and visit shop locations as needed
