- 2 or more years of experience as AU Tax Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Competency in Excel
- Business, Commerce, or Finance degree with an Accounting major
- Business, Commerce, Finance, or Law double degree with an Accounting major is desirable
- Commencement of CPA or equivalent is desirable
- Demonstrate fundamental understanding of tax concepts, including tax provisions, Capital Gains Tax, loss provisions, Goods and Services Tax, taxation of trusts, and withholding tax
- Conduct research and provide advice on expatriate taxation, international tax, R&D, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, and country-by-country reporting
- Compile tax returns for companies and trusts
- Compile fringe benefit tax returns
- Assist with tax audits
- Handle ATO-related queries
