I. General Summary
Sr. Tax Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting the Tax Team Lead in projects and engagements related to tax compliance, audits and planning. Also, assist the Tax Team in timely preparation of tax related information and reporting to authorities.
II. Skills and Qualifications- At least 3 years’ experience in the field of taxation.
- Preferably with experience working on audit firms doing tax audits and handling shared service/multiple companies.
- Proficient in Excel and is knowledgeable in other Microsoft office tools/software.
- With good communication and leadership skills.
- Updated with latest tax rules/promulgations.
- Primary POC in assisting Tax Team Lead/Tax Manager
- Documentation requirements of BIR (e.g. contracts, etc.)
- Amendment of tax returns related to finalization of Financial Statements
- Completeness of BIR related records (e.g. returns, attachments, payment confirmation)
- Guide and assist the Tax Specialists in terms of tax regulations and compliance.
- Prepare, file and pay monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns in compliance with deadline.
- Assist in BIR audits or Letter of Authorities and reconciliation of findings.
