Building Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for a Building Electrical Engineer to support the daily operations and maintenance of electrical systems across malls and commercial properties.

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems and equipment within the mall to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for electrical facilities including power distribution systems, transformers, switchgears, generators, UPS, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor mall power consumption and utility usage and recommend energy-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including DOLE, BFP, and local government regulations.
• Manage electrical troubleshooting and emergency response activities to minimize downtime and maintain safe mall operations.
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and vendors for maintenance, repairs, installations, and project execution.
• Review electrical plans, technical drawings, and project proposals for tenant fit-outs, renovations, and mall improvement projects.
• Supervise electrical technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to operating procedures.
• Monitor generator performance and backup power systems to maintain business continuity during outages.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and equipment performance documentation.
• Support construction, renovation, and expansion projects by providing electrical engineering expertise and ensuring project compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement electrical safety procedures to protect tenants, employees, and mall guests.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement requests for electrical components and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with mall operations and tenant relations teams to address electrical concerns and maintain service standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• With at least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
