Senior Software QA

This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional who can work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive end-to-end testing initiatives to ensure the delivery of secure, stable, and production-ready solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in test planning, execution, automation, defect management, quality reporting, and release readiness activities while partnering closely with business, product, and technical stakeholders.

• Review business and technical documentation to identify testing requirements and quality risks.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test reports.
• Perform functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Execute and automate data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing activities.
• Prepare and maintain test data, user roles, and testing environments.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Track, manage, and report defects through resolution.
• Provide regular test status updates, risk assessments, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain quality dashboards and reporting within Azure DevOps.
• Support CI/CD implementation by integrating automated testing and quality gates.
• Participate in sprint reviews, defect triage sessions, release planning, and deployment activities.
• Recommend release readiness and escalate quality risks when necessary.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of Software Testing / Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience validating and comparing large data sets and conducting data reconciliation testing.
• Knowledge of database concepts and ability to write SQL queries.
• Experience testing modern web applications using technologies such as:
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• React
• Angular
• Experience testing backend services developed using:
• Java
• Python
• Node.js
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• ISTQB, ISEB/BCS-CTFL, or other relevant QA certifications.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD testing practices.
• Background in Banking, Financial Services, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or Microfinance projects.
• Experience in automation testing, data validation, and test execution automation.

• Hybrid work setup with onsite attendance as required.
• Regular schedule of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Manila Time.
• May be required to support critical releases and deployment activities outside regular business hours.
