Associate Software QA Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the quality of the project
• Tests each module based on functional and system requirements
• Ensure that all possible test scenarios have been made for testing.
• Responsible for reading the documents or any requirements and understanding what needs to be tested
• Create test cases and test data based on the given requirements.
• Responsible for reviewing and executing test scripts provided by Business Analysts
• Execute all the test cases, report defects, and define the severity and priority of each ticket.
• Investigate and provide results on production issues.
• Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the assigned tasks
• Responsible for doing your assigned task as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Identify problems or areas that may affect the new requirements.
• Comply with testing standards and procedures.
• Provide suggestions for system improvements.
• Responsible for informing your team lead of when you will finish the workload so that a new task can be assigned
• Coordinates with other stakeholders for clarification of requirements or improvement of the software
• Responsible for helping the company improve by participating and being an active participant in any discussion within the company
• Required to participate in Company activities
• Responsible for proper timekeeping of task assignments through the Portal Timesheets, which form part of the management review process for your employment

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 1- 3 Years of working experience in the related field is advantageous for this position.
• Fresh graduates with related experience from internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts
• Knows hardware and software technologies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced development
• Knows about Software Development Life Cycle
• Well-developed analytical Skills
• Knowledgeable in Software Quality Assurance and Testing in an Agile Environment
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work in Cubao, Quezon City
• Can start ASAP
