Finance Supervisor (R2R)
Role Overview
The Business Controller plays a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making for the Business Unit. This position ensures the accuracy of financial results, compliance with internal controls, and effective cost management, while providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
As a trusted finance partner, you will analyze key financial metrics, prepare detailed financial reports, oversee operational expenditures, and ensure policy compliance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis- Prepare monthly and YTD Business Unit P&L reports, including variance analysis and year-over-year comparisons.
- Analyze financial performance, key business metrics, and operational impact on financial results.
- Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure financial data is accurate, insightful, and supports business decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support business leaders by delivering data-driven financial analysis to enhance decision-making.
- Communicate financial results and key findings to senior management.
- Implement and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and report policy violations or exceptions to the Controller and CFO.
- Oversee disbursement and operational expense reporting, ensuring proper accounting and fund management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance financial expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.Experience: Minimum 2 years in Finance & Accounting, with expertise in Financial Planning, Reporting, Analysis, Controls, and Compliance.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, business analysis, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and analytics tools.
