Summary of Role
The primary objectives of the Assistant Sales Manager are to:
- Generate sales leads and maintain a healthy pipeline of target Strategic accounts.
- Meet New Business targets regarding new accounts generated and revenues produced.
- Oversee and monitor assigned merchant accounts, cultivating relationships to secure revenue growth and bring new strategic accounts into the portfolio.
- Increase market share and profitability within assigned districts through dedicated relationship management.
- Relationship Management: Actively monitor services and develop relationships with merchants to maximize new business and cross-sell opportunities, deepening the overall partnership.
- Profitability & Pricing: Manage account profitability and revenue potential, adjusting commercial agreements as necessary.
- Proposal Oversight: Monitor and supervise pricing and service proposals tailor-fitted to each potential New Account.
- Product Strategy: Identify cross-sell initiatives and maximize product suite revenue potential.
- Operational Liaison: Provide updates to Operations on resource allocations, specifically regarding vendor and POS terminal availability.
- Team Support: Assist the Manager in mentoring Sales Executives on company products and special procedures.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity within the portfolio to identify threats and execute remedial actions to avert attrition.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute Account Development Plans to maximize sales; perform strategic visits to merchants targeted by competitors.
- Service Excellence: Address merchant complaints and liaise with internal teams to ensure service providers comply with agreed SLAs.
- Asset Management: Rationalize POS deployments on existing accounts to ensure maximum revenue returns on allocated resources.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements- Education: College graduate; a degree in Business, Management, or Marketing is an asset.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales and customer service, preferably in credit card-related businesses.
- Client Service: Proven record in customer-facing service and handling demanding or difficult clients.
- Collaboration: Eagerness to work closely with customers to identify and develop their payment processing capabilities.
- Mobility: Must be based in Pangasinan, willing to travel to Baguio as needed, and amenable to field work.
- Previous experience in Merchant Acquiring Relationship Management with Top 100 Philippines corporations.
