Job Role: Event Design Conceptor (004 - 00238)
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Compensation range: 2,000 - 2,300 AUD / Month (Final offer will be based on the client’s assessment, as well as your experience and background)Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement; Full-Time; Remote

The client is a boutique event planning and styling agency that specializes in high-touch, concierge-level services. Their work is primarily focused on weddings (95%), with a smaller portion dedicated to marketing and brand activations (5%). Positioned in the upper-mid market, they are committed to elevating their brand profile and consistently delivering exceptional, non-ordinary experiences that exceed client expectations.
Role Overview:
We’re on the hunt for an Event Design Conceptor with a strong background in interior design or architecture and a passion for creating visually stunning, high-end wedding experiences. This is a unique opportunity to join a boutique event planning agency that delivers bespoke, concierge-level services in the upper-mid market space.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for aesthetics, experience working with organic elements like florals and plants, and is confident in both digital and hand-drawn concepting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design wedding and event spaces that reflect our clients' vision and our brand’s premium aesthetic
- Create 3D renderings using SketchUp or similar tools to bring ideas to life for internal teams and clients
- Use Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to sketch, illustrate, and refine design concepts
- Work with organic materials such as florals and greenery in spatial planning and visual storytelling
- Stay on top of emerging design trends, aesthetics, and event styling innovations
- Collaborate with stylists, planners, and external vendors to ensure cohesive and elevated execution
- Provide input into graphic elements or visual identity (if experienced in graphic design)
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all visual presentations
- Be open to learning new tools and workflows that improve efficiency and creativity
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in design, architecture, or a similar creative discipline
- Proficient in SketchUp, Procreate, and Adobe Illustrator
- Bonus points for proficiency in Photoshop and/or experience in graphic design
- Proven track record in event design, ideally with a strong portfolio featuring wedding projects
- Comfortable working with organic elements such as flowers, plants, and natural textures in spatial design
- Fluent in English with confident, clear, and proactive communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail — able to spot even the smallest flaws in design execution
- Willing and able to learn new tools, software, and stay aligned with emerging trends and aesthetics
