Outbound Supervisor

The Outbound Supervisor is responsible for maintaining order in all aspects of outbound or dispatching activities. is responsible for executing plans and directions for Outbound. On a daily basis, works with the officer in the development and implementation of functional area, work schedules to assure effective and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient management of the agreed resourcesallocated for Outbound Operations (Freight,manpower, supplies, etc)
• Escalation of all issues encountered andprovide recommendations to address such/elevate suggestions on improvements ofbusiness process and procedures
• Developing / creating reports according to requirements. Present updates and insights and implement course of action
• Identifying the most efficient methodology while minimizing cost by meeting or being ahead of the published lead time
• Ensuring 100% compliance to Standard Operating and safety procedures and policies and can identify non-compliance and recommend actions to correct
• Tracking KPIs regularly and review if

Qualifications:

• Advance knowledge in available transportation management system and distribution center's end to end operations.
• Providing operational shift reports based on team's performance and takes initiative to improve productivity and proposed contingency action plans to recover once cause of delay was identified.
• In dept knowledge of Distribution Center's applications (eg. but not limited to WINS++,RF Weblink,, Electronic Authority to Pull out System (E_APO) , Centralized Warehouse Management System (CWMS), Barcode Tracking System (BTS) , Road planner
• Capability to use automated material handling systems (ie. RF handheld terminals) and / or navigate Warehouse management systems.
• Ability to identify root cause and generate structural solutions, and translate plan into action.
