Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure achievement of production schedules and output targets.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and company standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage production personnel to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
- Monitor production performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address operational issues.
- Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain departments to support uninterrupted operations.
- Investigate production deviations, downtime, and quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit accurate production reports, shift reports, and performance analyses.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices at all times.
- Conduct employee coaching, performance monitoring, and training to develop team capabilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Licensed Chemical Engineer is an advantage.
- At least 2–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing company, preferably in the FMCG, personal care, home care, food, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience in supervising production personnel and managing production operations.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, workplace safety, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and extended hours when necessary.
