Position Summary

Green Thumb Precision Farms is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead the assembly, testing, commissioning and continuous improvement of our modular container farming systems. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and operations teams to ensure every container farm is built to the highest quality standards and performs reliably at customer sites.

This role combines mechanical, electrical and systems engineering with practical problem-solving, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys building, troubleshooting and improving innovative products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, equipment assembly, manufacturing, or automation.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics; AutoCAD or SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
• Willing to travel for project installations, commissioning, and customer support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the assembly, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Supervise project execution to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.
• Conduct equipment testing, system start-up, and customer training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design and system performance.
• Prepare project reports and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
