Finance Manager

Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The role supports strategic business decisions by providing financial analysis and maintaining sound internal controls, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management- Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze financial results and present reports to senior management.
- Oversee general accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Supervise the finance and accounting team to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor departmental expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, production costs, and profitability.
- Support management in pricing analysis and cost optimization.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity requirements.
- Monitor bank balances, financing arrangements, and working capital.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of obligations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and review tax filings and regulatory reports.
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditures.
- Participate in business planning and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related Business course.
- CPA designation is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting systems.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is required.
- Experience in budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
