Your role
We are looking for Maintenance Equipment Engineering Technician who will be responsible in keeping the production equipment to its optimum availability by carrying out troubleshooting and repairs in an efficient way.
Main responsibilities:
- Performs corrective, preventive and improvement maintenance activities for all production equipment.
- Executes job order on maintenance, repair on time and record completed work.
- Monitors Equipment breakdown and implement control action.
- Monitors and report machine, utilities and building condition.
- Generates productivity improvement ideas in his work areas.
- Fabricates jigs and tooling.
- Complies with safety and housekeeping activities.
- Assists in collection and analysis of EER data.
- Participates in creation of maintenance procedures for new equipment introduced into the workshop.
A Portrait of a Perfect Candidate:
- Electro-Mechanical License/Certification, Technical Degree or 5 years related work experience in maintenance of production equipment
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing operations experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Knowledgeable in the safe use of shop equipment; theory and applications of Pneumatics, Sensors and Motor Controls
- Weekend and overtime work is required when needed
- Can work near or around various chemicals
