QA Team Lead

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Food Technology/Agriculture major in Animal Science, BS Biology
• Knowledgeable of GMP, HACCP, SSOP
• With significant experience and knowledge in the food industry/manufacturing set-up
• Knowledge of Food Safety
• Knowledge of Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the establishment, review and updating of requirements for all internal audits (FSSC, GMP, ISO, HACCP) and external audits (Regulatory, customer and third-party audits)
• Facilitate and assist preparation and conduct of all internal audits (FSSC, ISO, HACCP and GMP) and external audits (Regulatory, customer and third-party audits)
• Serve as liaison officer for customer audits and third-party audits (FSSC, ISO and Regulatory body)
• Review and assist conduct of supplier audits
• Facilitate the establishment, review and implementation of the Audit Program of the plant
• Facilitate the establishment, review and implementation of an Audit checklist and audit plan for all internal audits (FSSC, ISO, HACCP and GMP) and external audits (Regulatory, customer and third-party audits)
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of qualified internal auditors of the plant
• Facilitate conduct of pre-audit activities and notification of auditees for FSSC and ISO Internal audit
• Facilitate conduct of opening and closing meetings for FSSC and ISO internal audits
• Assist in the preparation and conduct of on-site audit activities for all internal audits (FSSC, ISO, HACCP and GMP) and external audits (Regulatory, customer and third-party audits)
• Review and summarize audit findings and report audit summary of all internal and external audits
• Assist in the preparation and conduct of root-cause analysis or problem-solving activities for internal audit deviations or non-conformities
• Review and verify customer complaints and trade returns and initiate root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Follow-up non-conformity reports and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and established audit program
• Review violations and non-conformities related to quality and food safety and take appropriate actions to prevent recurrence
• Train, assist and evaluate the performance of the lead internal auditor and assistant internal auditor
• Act as deputy for internal audit or Audit Program Lead and perform other duties required by immediate superior
• Assumes the direct and indirect responsibility to implement the objectives, targets and programs of the company particularly related to quality and food safety
