Social Worker

United Neon Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization and socio-civic arm of the United Neon Media Group. UNFI aims to be the purpose-driven and transformative educational foundation providing support and services such as scholarship grants and financial assistance in the areas of: (ALS) Alternative Learning System; (IEC) Information, Education and Communication publication; trainings and workshops both in formal and non-formal educational system that will cater to the underprivileged and deserving youth and adults in the Philippines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Caters to beneficiaries’ requests and/or concerns.
• Proposes programs and services beneficial to the overall welfare of the beneficiaries and assists in the execution of programs and services approved by the Executive Director, including but not limited to:
• Preparing new scholarship agreements;
• Maintaining and monitoring existing scholarship agreements; and
• Maintaining regular coordination with partners and beneficiaries.
• Monitors the compliance of all beneficiaries with the assigned requirements, such as:
• Academic requirements;
• Elevate monitoring;
• Attending worship services; and
• Scholar meet-ups.
• Prepares Memoranda of Agreement for partner institutions and partner clients.
• Ensures proper case management and documentation for beneficiaries with special cases, including case studies, progress reports, narratives, process recordings, and case notes.
• Facilitates the delivery of assistance such as allowances, tuition fees and miscellaneous fees, medical assistance, and other foundation assistance as needed.
• Facilitates the application of new scholars through initial interviews (intake), home visitation, and evaluation.
• Assists the Executive Director in selecting scholars as beneficiaries and in the termination process when necessary.

Educational Background and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education or similar
• Must be a registered / licensed Social Worker or licensed professional Teacher
