Store Manager – Responsibilities & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience

Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring consistently high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

Lead and Empower the Sales Team

Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve and surpass sales goals.

Drive Sales Performance and Business Growth

Develop and execute strategies to attract new clientele, boost foot traffic, and enhance overall profitability.

Handle Customer Concerns Efficiently

Address customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism to maintain a positive brand image and shopping experience.

Maintain Brand and Operational Standards

Ensure store operations align with company guidelines, including visual merchandising and brand representation.

Analyze Sales Metrics

Create and interpret sales reports using retail KPIs to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth.

Oversee Daily Store Operations

Manage routine tasks such as staff scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Evaluate Merchandise Performance

Monitor product performance, assess sell-through rates, and respond proactively to merchandising challenges.

Manage Inventory Processes

Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels, loss prevention, and timely replenishment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline (preferred).

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in a retail management position, ideally within the fashion industry.

Leadership & Customer Service

Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong background in customer relationship management.

Retail & Business Knowledge

In-depth understanding of store operations, retail trends, and core business principles.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for team collaboration and customer interaction.
