About the role
ALFC Insurance Agency Corporation is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our Human Resources team on a full-time basis. Based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our organisation's success by providing comprehensive human resources support across all levels of the company.The HR Officer will play a vital role in ensuring our people operations run smoothly whilst supporting the strategic objectives of ALFC Insurance Agency Corporation.
What you'll be doing- Administering and managing employee recruitment processes, including job posting, shortlisting, interview scheduling and onboarding of new hires
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files and HR databases in compliance with data protection regulations
- Processing employee transactions such as leave applications, attendance records, payroll-related documentation and benefits administration
- Providing support with employee relations matters, including handling inquiries, grievances and disciplinary procedures
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines
- Co-ordinating training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and capabilities
- Supporting the administration of compensation and benefits programmes
- Assisting with compliance matters related to employment laws and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to the development of a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- 1-3 years of professional experience in an HR generalist or HR administration role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labour regulations and best practices in human resources management
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in sensitive HR matters
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- Problem-solving capabilities with a customer-service oriented approach
- Experience with recruitment and employee onboarding is highly desirable
