Care and Equipping Program Manager

The Care and Equipping Program Manager is mainly responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Care and Equipping Program in accordance with the mission, vision, goals and core values of the organization. This position plays a vital role in fostering the well-being and capacities of ministry leaders and the organizations they serve.

The CEPM will lead initiatives that strengthen spiritual, emotional, and organizational health, providing resources, support systems, and strategic training that empower leaders to flourish in their calling.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Program development and implementation: Designs and leads care and equipping initiatives that foster the well-being and effectiveness of ministry leaders and their organizations.
  • Leader engagement and support: Builds trusted relationships with leaders to provide intentional care, coaching, and relevant resources for growth and resilience.
  • Partner selection and onboarding: Lead the selection and onboarding process for ministry partners, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals
  • Training and resources: Develops and strategically delivers practical training, workshops, and tools to equip leaders in areas of spiritual, emotional, and organizational health.
  • Assessment and evaluation: Leads and engages in the conduct of regular assessments to identify training needs, track partner progress, and measure program impact; refines strategies to improve effectiveness and reach.
  • Program administration: Manages budgets, timelines, and reporting requirements to ensure efficient and accountable program execution.
  • Network development: Cultivates and manages strategic relationships, building partnerships with government, private sector, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • A follower of Jesus Christ and in good standing in his/her church and community. Demonstrating unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and making choices aligned with biblical teachings. In agreement with Ani's statement of faith.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership capacity
  • Based in Davao City and must be willing and able to travel to various regions across the Philippines
  • Preferred: Master's Degree (MBA) or another related field
  • Preferred: Certification or training in program management, coaching, counseling or spiritual direction

  • Training and facilitation skills: Skilled in designing and delivering impactful training/equipping programs and workshops. Capable of equipping leaders with practical tools for spiritual, emotional, and organizational health.
  • Spiritual and emotional intelligence: Deep understanding of spiritual and emotional well-being, with the ability to offer pastoral care and guidance. Able to discern the needs of ministry leaders and offer relevant support that strengthens their resilience and effectiveness.
  • Shepherding and Soul Care: Captures the nurturing, supportive, and spiritually attentive posture of the leader toward ministry leaders and the team.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability: Demonstrates a deep understanding of the cultural context and challenges of working in the Philippines. Adaptable to different ministry environments, able to tailor approaches based on specific needs and challenges.
  • Leadership and management skills: Provides clear vision and direction while effectively guiding teams and initiatives. Cultivates a culture of trust, learning, and growth to support both people and program success in alignment with the organization's mission.
