Distribution Key Account Specialist

The Distribution Key Account Specialist is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key accounts to achieve sales targets, maximize product distribution, and ensure excellent customer service. The position focuses on driving business growth through effective account management, sales planning, and execution of trade programs within assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management- Manage and maintain strong business relationships with assigned key accounts.
- Ensure achievement of sales volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies and action plans.
- Identify opportunities to increase product distribution, market share, and sales performance.
- Negotiate trade agreements, promotional activities, and merchandising initiatives with key accounts.
- Monitor and analyze account sales performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure proper implementation of trade programs, promotions, and merchandising standards.
- Monitor product availability, visibility, and inventory levels within assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing and Operations teams to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, account performance reports, and market updates.
- Analyze sales trends, customer purchasing patterns, and competitor activities.
- Maintain updated customer records, contracts, and account documentation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Logistics, and Finance departments to support account requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and resolution of operational issues affecting customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or FMCG Distribution.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and know how to drive.
- Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork as required.
