Leasing Staff (Tenant Acquisition)

The Tenant Acquisition Staff is responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing qualified tenants for the company’s properties. This role involves marketing available spaces, conducting site tours, managing inquiries, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring tenant satisfaction throughout the leasing process.

The position plays a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and supporting the overall profitability of the property

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Tenant Prospecting and Lead Generation
  • Identify and target potential tenants through market research, advertising, and networking.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and walk-ins.
  • Maintain a database of tenant leads and follow up regularly to convert leads into leases.
  1. Leasing Process Management
  • Conduct site visits and property tours with potential tenants.
  • Present property features, amenities, and benefits to clients.
  • Assist in the negotiation of lease terms, rental rates, and other agreements within company policy.
  • Prepare and process lease documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Coordinate with the legal and finance departments for lease execution and payment processing.
  1. Tenant Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main contact for new tenants during move-in and onboarding.
  • Address tenant inquiries, issues, and requests professionally and promptly.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing tenants to encourage lease renewals.
  1. Market and Competitor Analysis
  • Monitor real estate trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management for pricing and marketing strategy adjustments.
  1. Reporting and Administration
  • Prepare weekly and monthly leasing reports (e.g., occupancy rates, inquiries, lease status).
  • Maintain accurate tenant records and lease files.
  • Support management in achieving occupancy and revenue targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, or related field.
  • At least 6 months - 1 year of experience in leasing, property management, or sales (real estate experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and can work independently or as part of a team.
