Accounting Officer
Job Description
Summary
The Accounting Officer is responsible for executing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts receivable and payable, treasury functions, and financial reporting. The position reports directly to the Accounting Officer II and the Managing Partner and plays a critical role in supporting the company's financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
Reviewing and validating encodings done by other Accounts receivable staff.
Ensuring the correct filing of all records based on company policies and standards.
Accounts Payable:
Review and validate expense reports for payments. Treasury:
Monitor investors and creditor cash
Monitoring payment maturities of loans.
Reporting and Monitoring availability of cash for payment for investors and creditors.
Reporting:
Preparation of Budget
Prepare periodic financial statements and reports for management.
Other Accounting and Finance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (e.g., ledgers, journals, vouchers).
Reconcile company bank statements with internal records on a regular basis.
Support payroll preparation by ensuring proper documentation and calculations.
Support the finance advisor by providing necessary documentation.
Support the finance advisor for tax preparation and other compliances
Ensuring to raise all questionable transactions.
Requirement
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree.
Must have 2 -3 years solid experience as an Accounting Officer.
Must have a conversational ability to speak English and Filipino languages.
Must have advanced knowledge using Microsoft and Google applications.
Must have basic knowledge of ordering/purchasing products on online platforms.
Preferably have experience in making financial statements.
Preferably can work with pressure.
Can render overtime if needed.
Can start as soon as possible.
