Accountant

About the role

This is a part-time Accountant role at The Law Group, a dynamic law firm based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial part in the firm's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Support the finance team in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analysis
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, auditors, and tax authorities

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and other relevant accounting regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
