Job Summary
Responsible for encoding, monitoring, and maintaining accurate merchandising and inventory data to support efficient retail and brand operations. The role includes processing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, managing merchandise replenishment, monitoring pricing, handling supplier payment processing, and ensuring proper barcode encoding and tagging of items.The position also works closely with warehouse, store operations, and suppliers to ensure timely movement of stocks and accurate inventory
Key Responsibilities- Process Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely coordination with suppliers and internal departments
- Manage merchandising revolving funds, including replenishment, liquidation, and monitoring of fund utilization
- Process and monitor supplier payments and related documentation
- Coordinate deliveries and stock transfers between warehouse and store outlets, including return transactions from stores to warehouse
- Monitor merchandise pricing and conduct regular price checks to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
- Handle merchandise re-ordering and inventory replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels
- Perform barcode encoding and ensure accurate item information in the system
- Conduct physical barcode tagging and labeling of merchandise items
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase transactions, and merchandising reports
- Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and store teams regarding inventory concerns and delivery schedules
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of merchandising and inventory data
- Perform other administrative and merchandising-related tasks as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience in merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, or data encoding is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience in SAP, JDA, or similar inventory and purchasing systems is preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge in inventory control, purchase order processing, and merchandise monitoring is an advantage
- Willing to do field/store coordination and warehouse visits when necessary
